The three CleanTech Hubs established by the MOUSTADAMA Programme and hosted at the Palestine Techno Park in Birzeit, at the AlQuds University in Jerusalem, and at the Gaza University in Gaza are now fully operational. With a calendar full of ongoing activities, the local coaches become pivotal for a fruitful engagement of supporting entrepreneurs and startups.
To ensure that the coaches are fully prepared to animate the Hubs’ services and to support the support sessions and activities scheduled for the Palestine CleanTech Acceleration Program, a dedicated training program has been specifically designed by UNIDO and its pool of local and international experts. Based on the lean approach, a methodology employed within the startup ecosystem to favor quick iteration for optimizing value creation, the 15-day Train-the-Trainer (TTT) course is scheduled ongoing until December 2021.
Confronted with the specific challenges of the innovation in the cleantech sector, together with the tools and strategies to favor business development and market access facilitation, the coaches are sharpening their expertise and getting prepared to taking the lead to effectively support the entrepreneurs of the Palestine CleanTech Innovation Program’s upcoming editions. Through this targeted training, MOUSTADAMA is also helping to enforce the CleanTech Hubs long-term sustainability and the progressive consolidation of the cleantech community in Palestine.
